Some photographers hate lens flare but I love it.
Others think that lens flare obscures the subject and just distracts more than contributes to the overall impact of a photo. There is some truth to that but I guess what I find more interesting is how lens flare appears in the first place. The conditions when taking a photo just have to be be perfect to create the “imperfection.”
I can imagine that this is how letting loose looks like: perfectly imperfect.
